The rest of July 2016

I think I had it in my head that my summer was slowing down now....actually, no, just one weekend here (this one) without a gig (I just took a nap, something I haven't done since...I don't know when), and then....well, here you go, hope you can make it out to one or more of these fun upcoming shows. By way of some explanation - this past winter, I set out to really fill up this summer with as much as I could, since I don't really tour (I do play out of town a little, and intend to do so more and more as the kids get older), and thus when I put out a new album (as I did with my 13th record "Dan" in December), I really want to make the most of it by playing the songs live throughout the following year or so. So this is my tour - come support it if you can, I truly appreciate it. The rest of July looks like this:


Wednesday, July 13 - FULL BAND SHOW (with David J Russ, Mike Lane, and James Tyler O'Neill) - Dan and the band play at the Three Rivers Park District's "Silverwood on Stage" at Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, MN, 6:30 pm, free and all-ages, details here http://www.silverwoodonstage.org/event/dan-israel-band/ - I'm calling this my peace concert (given the location) so come bring friends and family and dance and have fun and let's promote peace instead of violence

Saturday, July 16 - Dan plays solo at Northeast Folk Festival at Grumpy's Northeast - I play at 6 pm, on the inside stage...see the *** at the end of this post for the full lineup.
